Back to Bangkok and this time, we set our hearts to visit the iconic tourist destination - Grand Palace Bangkok. The traffic has always deterred me from travelling to places, but we found comfort through GRAB and UBER - which saves us the complete hassle of haggling taxi prices.
I've been to a fair share of palaces in Korea, Japan and the EU....but was unaware of the dressing code required to enter into the palace. I know, klutz me.
It also cost us 500 baht (20 SGD) each person to enter, which I thought was rather pricey. We decided to go ahead (reluctantly) after having to walk in a good 2km because commercial vehicles were not allowed in close proximity.
We were intrigued by how those tinted tiles and ornaments were used to built these towers. It definitely was grand and majestic as the sun shone against those intricately designed gold tips.
We found a spot and spent some time shooting one of my favourite coordinates - our Zoey Striped Dress, an off shoulder design with ruffled details and classic blue stripes.I t proved to be an easy piece to put on for brunch dates or a day out exploring with our Sherine Sunflower Bag - a piece that was handmade from scratch and adorned with daisies. This is one a kind and you'll never find it anywhere else!
On the topic of exclusivity, our Mia Flamingo Earrings could be a contender for it's exquisite design that was handmade in Thailand.
If you're looking for something that is edgy and unique, don't forget to check out our Meaningful Monday featured in our Grand Palace Travelogue!
