SHUGGA Cafe

Unveiling new cafes while frolicking in Bangkok has inevitably evolved into a travel routine. In our last trip, we paid a visit to Shugga - a well raved dessert cafe which lived up to its name. 

The team of creatives from Shugga dove into the science of sugar; breaking-it-down to a molecular level, where sugar crystals and their polygon formations led the design concept. It is apparent throughout its theme and the interior reflects the various crystals and elements that compose the desserts’ primary ingredient, making every corner of the cafe beautifully detailed and Instagram-worthy. 

There was a wide selection of decadent desserts for us to choose from and we opted for their seasonal animal croissant and some of their classic desserts - which were a tad too sweet for us. My favourite was the lychee dessert (in pink!) which I spontaneously polished it off after our shoot for Solid Tuesday from The Texture Seven!
